I've been thinking all night long, what have i been doing lately, that i'm so busy and have no time for my blog? Well, i did do something currently, getting busy and crazy with my new lens, Canon G9. Living in Dubai, photography can be a 'cheap' pastime compare to others. Well not so cheap if one is planning to buy those DSLR with top of range lens. But anyway for me, the Canon G9 served and serving me good for time being, of course better than my previous Sony T100.
The G9 i'll say as a Compact digital camera you really need to get-to-know-her-first before you can understand her. It's not SLR camera and nor it's a compact digital. There are lotsa button, aperture setting, shutter speed, so on and so forth of the photography jargons. Anyway, since i got my pure virgin hand on her, it has been fun all along. So do i have talent or what? But one draw back of having a complicated camera, i can only snap others and views, but where is my own pic?
Those pics shown are taken at and from Madinat Jumeirah Suoq. I wish i can snap more but when it's getting dark, it's not easy to snap good pics with my bare hand!

i am too unsophisticated for a dslr so i tinker with a lumix fz20 whc i think is an idiot-proof camera, albeit a tad too big to be carried in a baby bag.

G9 is probably the best non DSLR camera in the market.
The Pro that day aso has a G9 which he always carry around.
My target buy if I hv a little money is indeed a G9.

yes aporn, G9 one of the best Compact Camera in the market & the best till today produce by Canon.
jenis/brand/model/harga bukanlah factor utama dalam menghasil kan gambar yang baik. kreativiti memainkan peranan yang paling besar. hanya dari segi technicalnya sahaja camera canggil/SLR/DSLR atau sebagainya membantu dalam menghasilkan gambar yang baik.
tetapi kadang2 factor teknikal juga sangat penting dalam waktu2 tertentu seperti dalam mode sport, nigh,..etc. kalau kamera yang ada set manual kira dah ok sebenarnya.
the most powerful compact camera prodused to the market today is Leica Minilux with fix 35mm Lens F 2.8, no other camera can beat this model until today. but this camera is not digital.
